Through art, observation, and mindful creative practice, Isher Dhiman creates spaces for reflection, presence, and connection. Bridging contemporary art, education, and wellbeing, her work spans exhibitions, university teaching, museum collaborations, and mindfulness-through-art workshops across London.
CREATIVE WELLBEING WORKSHOPS
Many of my creative wellbeing workshops are rooted in my own artistic practice, sharing skills and expertise in contemporary watercolour, drawing, observational practice, and fashion illustration. These sessions combine technical guidance with mindful and reflective approaches to making, encouraging participants to slow down, build confidence, and develop deeper forms of visual attention, self-expression, and creative awareness. Ultimately, it is about investing in your creative health and wellbeing.
TEACHING & HOSTING
As an Associate Lecturer at University of the Arts London (London College of Fashion), I teach across a range of courses including Fashion, Costume for Performance, and Knowledge Exchange. My teaching is centred on the practice of drawing — from observational drawing and fashion illustration to drawing the human form — as a foundational tool for thinking, making, and communicating. Alongside technical development, my approach emphasises drawing as a form of connection, encouraging students to engage with creativity as a shared and embodied experience within both academic and community contexts.
PORTFOLIO & COMMISSIONS
I have been fortunate to work across a wide range of commissioned projects, from personal portrait commissions and magazine covers to book cover illustrations, live illustration at London Fashion Week, and logo and visual identity design. My practice moves fluidly between fine art, fashion, and applied illustration, adapting to each brief while maintaining a strong observational and hand-drawn approach.
