Welcome to ID Art School where I am thrilled to be offering in person & online workshops,

1:1 tutored sessions and other arty fashion related content.

Since leaving London College of Fashion and Central Saint Martin's College of art, I have accumulated 20+ years experience creating artworks that originate from fashion and the figurative form, evolving to encompass conceptual & figurative art.  I have worked for a huge variety of clients using my artistic voice as a visual language and have been fortunate to feature in several magazines - Fashion & Others; a few illustrated covers too (a rarity in these digital times!). I have exhibited across the globe and currently showing at The CAMP gallery in Miami.

I firmly believe in the desire to grow as an artist, willingness to experiment and the belief it's never too late to learn something new.  Allow me to guide you through your creative journey as we explore, experiment and have fun together through a variety of real-time tasks, discussions and feedback.

Our strong connection to trees may be based on the similar characteristics we share with trees.  Trees are such a magical subject to paint, especially at this time of year with their desolate beauty captivating passers-by.  Have you always wanted to paint your own tree?  Wanted to work with acrylics or become more familiar with using them and mixing your own colours? Then do come along to the winter tree landscape workshop where we will paint in a calm and relaxing 2 hour workshop, immersing ourselves in the process of creating art, listening to some peaceful music, practicing mindfulness with every brush stroke as we create our own unique winter tree paintings.  This workshop will be led by professional artist Isher Dhiman, who will guide you every step of the way to create your very own unique winter landscape that you can take home and frame on your wall.

This will be a guided workshop with demonstrations and a step by step process throughout the session.  Individual creativity is encouraged to make the artwork more personal and unique to you.  Tree image references will be provided as will all materials required.  However, If you wish to bring your own paints/brushes to use, this is encouraged.

From beginners to advanced, all are welcome to join.

For anyone who has something specific they want to learn and prefer a 1:1 setting...It might be you want to learn how to draw a face? Or really want to understand the proportions of drawing a fashion figure to give your fashion images the balance they need.  Or you just want some guidance in your own personal creative projects.  Whatever your needs I will create personable sessions tailored to you with feedback and suggestions for research to increase your creative confidence.

I highly recommend this workshop to all looking to expand their illustration toolkit. Isher fosters an excellent atmosphere to unleash expressive creativity. My mark making confidence is better than before and I’m incorporating more mixed media techniques to create interesting illustrations. Isher does a fantastic job with connecting techniques for the fashion context that I have not seen in other similar style workshops. On top of that, Isher is an absolute joy to learn from and I can’t wait for her future workshops.
