MINDFULNESS THROUGH ART
Drop in weekly workshops at Our Yard
Art is a creative form of meditation, whether you are an experienced artist, mediator or have no experience at all, just the act of putting paint to paper can transform you into a state of calm. Allow me to guide you through a range of artistic workshops where we take inspiration from nature; drawing trees, flowers or using Turner’s infamous golden age palette, just as a a few examples. Each session will have a different theme but ultimately each session will focus on the joy of creating art and the mindfulness aspects of being present and immersing oneself in the process of creating art. Allow me to share my skills and experience with you, whilst enjoying the joy of being creative together in a calm and relaxing atmosphere. Reap the many benefits that creating art can bring for your wellbeing, whilst painting and learning with an experienced artist.
These mindfulness art sessions are drop in sessions, so whether you want to come weekly or just as and when you can, be rest assured you will be welcome to join and immerse yourself in a mindful art session each time you attend. All you need is your curiosity.
